Mis­sion Statement

NCADE is an asso­ci­a­tion whose mem­bers are com­mit­ted to pro­mot­ing edu­ca­tional access, oppor­tu­nity, aca­d­e­mic skill devel­op­ment, and stu­dent suc­cess. NCADE has been a voice on behalf of those who serve under­pre­pared stu­dents at post-secondary insti­tu­tions through­out North Carolina.

What we do

• Pro­mote the pro­fes­sional growth and devel­op­ment of its mem­ber­ship through edu­ca­tional and pro­fes­sional meet­ings and other com­mu­ni­ca­tion net­works designed for the dis­cus­sion of mutual con­cerns of the members.
• Encour­age the use and dis­sem­i­na­tion of research, eval­u­a­tion, pro­gram­ming, and train­ing efforts in the profession.
• Col­lab­o­rate with other pro­fes­sion­als and orga­ni­za­tions with sim­i­lar goals.
• Pro­mote accep­tance and valu­ing of devel­op­men­tal stud­ies in North Carolina.
